Early this year, we proudly announced our new service, Men’s Revival. And then COVID-19 put a bit of a damper on things; we had to delay the official launch of Men’s Revival until it was safe for our trained medical staff and our clients.
Since then, we’ve refined our services, smoothed out some details, and continued to get ready to launch Men’s Revival. We at IV Revival can’t wait to share this new service with you all and, as always, we’re dedicated to optimizing your health in every facet of your life.
Men, It’s Time to Revive Yourself
Having low testosterone levels (also known as Low T) is nothing to be ashamed about and is treatable. All of those symptoms that are causing you stress, from a low sex drive, difficulty keeping an erection, hair loss, fatigue, and increased body fat, are treatable. Stop letting them get in the way of your wellness and take the steps to revive yourself.
Regulating and raising your levels of testosterone can lead to an increased sex drive and better muscle health and can reduce the risk of males developing Alzheimer’s by 26% for each 10 unit increase how the hormone at 2, 5 and 10 years prior to the Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
It also helps prevent osteoporosis, as testosterone levels play a critical role in bone mass density.
What are Normal Levels of Testosterone?
The normal level of testosterone varies depending on thyroid function, protein and other factors. The American Urological Association (AUA) states a testosterone level of 300 ng/dL is normal for adult males between the ages of 19 and 30.
What is Testosterone Replacement Therapy?
When your body is not producing enough testosterone, you can choose to supplement it through testosterone replacement therapy. Testosterone replacement therapy can be administered by pill, injections or by using a gel or patch on your skin.
Our testosterone clients at Men’s Revival will be membership based. Those that qualify will need to present us with a thorough health history and submit to lab testing before receiving testosterone therapy to ensure the treatment is safe for them to take. Follow-up testing will occur once you start weekly treatments.
Is Testosterone Therapy Safe?
It is safe, but like with any hormone treatment, there are a few risks you should be aware of.
Men usually experience the following side effects:
Decrease in sperm production
Though rare, testosterone replacement therapy can cause serious health problems. It can lead to an increased risk in blood clots, infertility, heart problems and an enlarged prostate. Even though these complications are unusual, this is why Men’s Revival requires follow-up testing to ensure you’re remaining healthy throughout treatment.
To ensure your continued safety, Men’s Revival services require labs and a telemedicine consultation to see if you qualify for the program. If you have any of the following conditions, you will not qualify for treatment:
A nodule on your prostate
A PSA greater than 3 ng/ml
A hematocrit greater than 50%
Untreated obstructive sleep apnea
Class III or IV heart failure
Severe lower urinary tract symptoms
